Fine Aspect is based in the Surrey Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. I love Surrey's spectacular and inspiring landscape and deeply wish that our gardens excite us in the same way.

I am passionate about design in all its forms, and love that good design makes lives better, from the perfect teapot that never spills a drop, to the beauty of an aged rose, trained-lovingly over many years.

I love to guide clients through the process of designing their perfect garden. Like an architect I start by looking at the local area and observing the landscape, the local use of materials and common plants.​ Understanding the client (and their families) is incredibly valuable and key to any design.

​I studied Garden Design at Capel Manor and keep up with current trends through trade connections including the Society of Garden Designers. I volunteered at a National Trust Garden in Sevenoaks Kent. I have a local allotment where I grow fruit, vegetables, and flowers; growing your own food is a thrill and I love to help others to develop their own kitchen gardens. I garden with a light touch and am as organic as possible, supporting wildlife. I am also a member of The Gardeners Guild.

I work with a combination of hand drafting and computer design. The latter is ideal for those clients collaborating with architects or other design professionals as it allows for a seamless sharing of design information and plans.
